Our position on data selling
The Investors Centre (theinvestorscentre.com) does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. This has always been our practice and remains so regardless of where you are located.
We share data only with service providers who process it strictly on our behalf — such as Google Analytics (site analytics) and Mailchimp (newsletter delivery). These companies are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Your rights by region
Depending on where you live, you have specific legal rights over your personal data. Here's a summary of what applies to you:
California (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising. You also have the right to know what data we hold, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
UK & Europe (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Non-essential cookies are off by default on this site — you must opt in. You can withdraw consent or update preferences at any time via the cookie banner or by contacting us directly.
Australia (Privacy Act 1988)
Under the Australian Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you. You may also request that we delete your data where we no longer need it. We collect only the minimum data necessary and do not disclose it to overseas third parties without appropriate safeguards.
Canada (PIPEDA)
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent for its use, and request corrections. We collect data only with your knowledge and consent, and use it only for the purposes disclosed.

How to submit a request
Email Adam at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Request". Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your data (e.g. newsletter subscription)
- What you're requesting (access, deletion, correction, etc.)
- Your country of residence (so we can apply the correct legal framework)
We'll acknowledge your request within 48 hours and fulfil it within 30 days. There is no charge for reasonable requests. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your data rights.
